Attorney Stephen Bellis announced during the most recent Planning and Zoning board meeting that the chain planned to sign the lease for the property at 405 Bridgeport Ave. after some details were finalized, Shelton Herald reported.

The main project has been approved, but a Big Y plan to use an 800-square-foot kiosk near a proposed gas station on the property as a convenience store is still subject to debate at the next meeting Feb. 24, said the Shelton Herald.
