Watch Christmas Tree Lighting, See Santa At Veterans Park In Shelton

SHELTON, Conn. — There will be a second annual Community Tree Lighting at Veterans Memorial Park in Shelton, along with a performance by "Center Stage" and a special appearance by Santa at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

There will be a tree-lighting event Dec. 4 at Veterans Memorial Park in Shelton.

All families are encouraged to bring their own ornament to help decorate the tree at this free event.

The Boys & Girls Club of Lower Naugatuck Valley will be selling hot cocoa and baked goods. All proceeds go directly to the club.

The event is sponsored by the City of Shelton, Valley Community Foundation, Center Stage Theatre and Jones Family Farms.
