Cotton Candy Or Crepes? Fairfield Carnival Has Got You Covered

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — With temperatures beginning to climb, the Riverfield Elementary School PTA has just the ticket to get you and yours outside — the school’s annual Spring Carnival.

This year’s extravaganza runs May 5 and 6 behind the school at 1625 Mill Plain Road.

Rainbow Amusement Company will provide rides from all ages from toddlers to adults, with wristbands available for unlimited rides.

Along with the traditional carnival fare, expect food trucks by Colony Pizza, Christophe’s Crepes, Snappy Dawgs and Paula’s Ice Cream.

The carnival is one of the PTA fundraisers to support children programs, educational field trips and author visits. It is an all-school event that includes students, family and friends along with the community.

Hours are Friday, May 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, from 2 to 9 p.m.
