SHELTON, Conn. -- "Repeat Reads--a Book Club for Adults" meets at the Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton on the fourth Friday of every month at 6 p.m.

Join this group and re-read (or read for the first time) books that were often read in childhood. Revisit the classics and read them with a new eye – or with a bit of nostalgia.

Copies of each month’s book will be available at the Plumb Library adult circulation desk.

New members are always welcome for a discussion and refreshments.

The schedule is as follows:

  • April 22, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith
  • May 27, "The Giver" by Lois Lowry
  • June 24, "Because of Winn-Dixie" by Kate DiCamillo

For more information, call the Plumb Adult Department at 203-924-1580 or click here.
