According to Alicia Ghio, a RmediA co-producer, the downtown community really came through to help make this happen.

“They supported this crazy endeavor and we cannot thank them enough," she said.

When RmediA approached the businesses downtown with their request to film, they were met without hesitation. “Such fun, great energy, and exposure, not only for the Cultural Alliance but for downtown Danbury,” said Lisa Scails, Director of the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut, one of the film locations.

“It’s the kind of activity we embrace and we’re open to it in the future.”

In addition to the Cultural Alliance, film locations for the pilot include Mothership on Main, Two Steps Downtown Grille, the Danbury Library and the Concordia Society, many of which are seen in the show’s trailer. Go HERE to view.

“When Jesse asked us to join his project we were excited, but we were even more excited when he said he’d be happy to shoot scenes in Danbury,” said Renato Ghio, the cinematographer for the pilot.

Jesse Cowell, the creator of the Jeskid TV Show, is an actor and filmmaker best recognized for his online video comedies. When he proposed the idea of the show to RmediA, he was ready and willing to film completely in downtown Danbury.

Said Cowell: "Shooting in downtown Danbury was an absolute joy. Local businesses extended their arms to welcome us in (often participating in the shoots themselves) and local talent like RmediA made the end product that much better. It felt more like a home where creative kids get to play and that always shows up on screen.

"The Jeskid TV show would not be the same without the love and support of Danbury.”
