SHELTON, Conn. – Shelton History Center will hold a summer program, Adventures in History, for children ages 7 to 12 from Monday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The weeklong program includes nature crafts, forgotten games and healthy snacks. The cost is $120 for members and $155 for non-members, per child. There is limited enrollment. Click here to download the application .

The mission of the Shelton Historical Society is to preserve elements of the community's history in order to create lasting and meaningful connections between Shelton's past, present and future generations through education, maintaining a museum with its collections, and providing a voice in the community regarding matters of historical significance.
Membership levels to the Shelton Historical Society are $10 for junior associate, $20 for individual, $30 for family and $100 for corporate. One-year membership benefits include a 10 percent discount on Wilson Farm Stand Museum Shop purchases over $20, priority registration for Adventures in History summer program, free admission to all regular tours, use of research materials by appointment, 10 percent discount on special events admission, quarterly newsletter, advance notice of upcoming events, free vendor space at the annual fall tag sale holiday party and voting privileges at the annual meeting.
