Brother, Sister From New York Killed In Brussels Terror Attacks

A brother and sister who live in New York City were among the 31 people killed in the terror attacks in Brussels on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

A family member heard the bombs go off at the Brussels Airport while speaking on the phone to Alexander and Sascha Pinczowski before the call ended, according to the New York Daily News.

The two, who are Dutch citizens, were returning to New York from the Netherlands, where they were visiting relatives, according to CBS News. Alexander was engaged to the daughter of former U.S. ambassador to Denmark James Cain.

A total of 270 people were injured in the Brussels attacks, including 12 Americans.

A business executive from Ridgefield who was traveling for work suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the terror attack.

Sebastien Bellin, a former member of the men's basketball team at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, suffered serious injuries in the Brussels attacks.
