GoFundMe Set Up To Help Shelton Highway Worker Fighting Cancer

SHELTON, Conn. -- A GoFundMe page has been set-up to help a Shelton Highway Department employee who is suffering from lymphoma.

John Docktor, has had an uphill battle since coming down with cancer in 2015. He has exhausted all sick, personal and vacation time that he has accumulated over the years with the department. In the near future Docktor's pay will be cut to 50 percent. His friends are trying to raise at least $10,000 to help with his living and medical costs.

In addition the GoFundMe page, their will be a fundraiser on June 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the White Hills Fire Company, White Hills Fire Company, 2 School St.
