While appearing in court Monday on the charges of interference with a cemetery, criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny, Davila reportedly appeared out of sorts and exposed his underwear to people behind him, prompting a judge to tell him to pull his pants up, according to the Connecticut Post.

Davila was also ordered to stay away from the cemetery, and his case was continued until Oct. 16, the Connecticut Post reported.

Davila is accused of stealing the ashes for use in a religious ceremony conducted by his girlfriend, according to the Connecticut Post. A witness had told police that the girlfriend had conducted rituals using dead chickens and cigars, the Connecticut Post reported.
