Resurfacing Project, Lane Closures Taking Place On Route 108 In Shelton

SHELTON, Conn. -- The Connecticut Department of Transportation has said a resurfacing project will be performed beginning Monday on Route 108 in Shelton.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 108 in Shelton from May 9-11.

The project consists of resurfacing 1.3 miles of Route 108 in Shelton. This project is scheduled to occur Monday through Wednesday. 

Aside from the resurfacing project, motorists can expect lane closures on Route 108 from Pine Street to just south of Meadow Street. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
