Shanta Jordan was hit by a car outside of Junco Restaurant along with two kids on May 31 in a horrifying crash. All three sustained injuries, CTPost reported.

On June 7, David Robertson began a fundraiser for Jordan. In his message he said he didn't see any other fundraising going on for Jordan or the kids. To date, Robertson has raised $880 of a $10,000 goal.

Robertson told CT Post he started the fundraiser and posted the video of the crash to help Jordan even though he does not know her.

Days later, Jordan began her own GoFundMe for her physical rehabilitation. Jordan has raised $720 of a $50,000 goal.

It is not clear whether Jordan and Robertson have discussed their fundraising goals, CTPost reported.
