Mildred Glynn, 89, Longtime Shelton Resident

SHELTON, Conn. — Shelton resident Mildred (Moffet) Glynn, died Wednesday, May 4. She was 89.

She was the devoted wife of the late James Glynn. 

A native of Bridgeport, Glynn was a Shelton resident for 57 years.

She was employed at Schick Razor for many years before her retirement. 

Glynn is survived by children Thomas W. Glynn and his wife Linda, Sharon Zuke and her husband Tom, James M. Glynn and his wife Toni, and Judith LaJoie and her husband Peter; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her friend and companion, Dorothy. 

She was predeceased by her husband, James Glynn; parents William and Anna (Yuckienuz) Moffett; and four brothers. 

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. 

On Tuesday, May 10, friends and family are invited to go directly to St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford.
