Classic Car Catches Fire In Monroe

MONROE, Conn. — A crew from the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department responded to a small fire in a classic car on Saturday night, according to a Facebook post.

Upon arrival at 401 Monroe Turnpike, units found the front bench seat of a classic car had gone up in flames, the post said. Units used a can and the booster line to douse the small blaze.
