Dominic M. Mancuso, 35, of Stamford, was nabbed around 8 p.m. Monday after Greenwich police received a call from a concerned resident, said Lt. John Slusarz.

Police located Mancuso on East Putnam Avenue and pulled him over. When officers approached the vehicle they reported he had red glassy eyes with pinpoint pupils and the odor of alcohol was detected.

Mancuso was asked to submit to a series of field sobriety test which he failed, police said.

During a search of his vehicle, officers uncovered a BB gun under the driver's seat.

Mancuso was charged with DWI, failing to maintain lane and illegal possession of a weapon in a vehicle.

He was released on $400 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 4.
