SHELTON, Conn. -- State Rep. Jason Perillo (R-113), a Shelton resident, was recently nominated by the Shelton Republican Town Committee to be their candidate for State Representative, according to the Shelton Herald.
Perillo, who was first elected in 2007, is seeking re-election. He cited his past successes and his drive to accomplish more for Shelton, as his reasons for running again, said the Shelton Herald.
Formerly the volunteer Chief of Shelton’s Echo Hose Ambulance, Perillo was up against Planning and Zoning Commission Chair Ruth Parkins. She received four votes, Perillo, received 27, added the Shelton Herald.
