Police: Shelton Woman Violated Protective Order With Texts, Calls

SHELTON, Conn. — A 30-year-old woman from Shelton was charged with violation of a protective order after making calls and sending texts to a man in Milford, police said.

Ileena Zamfino, of 124 Bridgeport Ave., was arrested at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant and charged with violation of a protective order by Milford police.

She violated a court-set protective order by contacting a male in Milford who has a full no-contact protective order against her, police said.

Zamfino made calls and sent texts on March 8, police said. 

She was released on a promise to appear in court on March 23.
