Police: Trio Tried To Pass Fake Bills At Sears In Milford

MILFORD, Conn. — Three people from Staten Island, N.Y., tried to use counterfeit money at the Sears in the Connecticut Post mall in Milford, police said.

Officers responded Saturday to the Sears, where they found three people with "numerous" fake $100, $50 and $20 bills in their possession, police said.   

Christina Gallo, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana and first-degree forgery. 

Geenamarie Gallo, 23, and Kevon Parker, 21, were also charged with first-degree forgery. 

Each suspect posted $1,000 bond for a Dec. 26 court appearance.
