The arrests stemmed from a monthlong investigation into Arlene Bruneau of Shelton, police said.
On June 1, Shelton Police and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency New Haven District Office Tactical Diversion Squad arrested Bruneau along with her 56-year-old son Richard Rich, also of Shelton.
Bruneau was charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance and injury/risk and impairing morals of a child, police said.
Rich was charged with illegal possession, use of drug paraphernalia and failure to keep drug in original container, police said.
Bruneau’s 15-year-old juvenile grandchild also resides at the home, police said.
