SHELTON, Conn. -- A Shelton man, who police connected to a heroin death in Bridgeport, is one of six men facing federal drug charges after a statewide crackdown on people who provide opioids and other drugs, according to the CT Post.
A criminal complaint charges Jorge Morales, 29, of Shelton, in an April 15 incident in which a 21-year-old Bridgeport woman was found unresponsive in her apartment, the CT Post reports. She later died, and police recovered heroin at her apartment that they connected to the Shelton man, the CT post says.
Five other men from Connecticut are also facing drug charges after authorities accused them of providing drugs to people who later were injured or died of an overdose, the CT Post reports.
