Shelton Man Facing Drug Charges Denies Growing Marijuana At Home

SHELTON, Conn. -- A Shelton man who was arrested by police investigating a home invasion at his house is denying charges he was operating an illegal marijuana operation, according to valley.newhavenindependent.org.

William Frascatore, 36, was arrested Jan. 8 after reporting two men had entered his home at 43 Quaker Ridge Road and stolen cash and jewelry, according to valley.newhavenindependent.org. When police arrived, they found what they charge was a "marijuana growing operation," according to valley.newhavenindependent.org

On Thursday, Jan. 14, Frascatore said he only smokes medical marijuana that he's purchased legally through a local dispensary, according to valley.newhavenindependent.org. He declined to comment on his medical condition, according to valley.newhavenindependent.org.
