Shelton Police Department Presenting Drug Awareness Class For Parents

SHELTON, Conn. -- The Shelton Police Department, in partnership with the Board of Education, Shelton PTO, Greater Valley Substance Abuse Council and Shelton Youth Services Bureau, will host a presentation for parents on drug awareness.

The event will be at 6:30 p.m. May 9 at the Shelton Intermediate School, 675 Constitution Blvd. N.

The presentation will provide information for parents to recognize signs of drug use and inform them about resources available in the community.

The Shelton Police Department will be sending out telephone messages using the “Code Red” telephone system during er the next week.
