Victim Found Dead Inside Mobile Home After Fire In Shelton

SHELTON, Conn. — An unidentified person was found dead after a fire destroyed a mobile home in Shelton early Friday evening, according to the Valley Independent Sentinel.

The fully involved fire was reported at 5:50 p.m. in the Fairchild Heights mobile home park off Bridgeport Avenue, the Valley Independent Sentinel said.

The victim was found after the fire was extinguished in the mobile home, the Valley Independent Sentinel said. 

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fatal blaze remains under investigation, the Valley Independent Sentinel said. The victim had not been identified late Friday. 

Firefighters responded from all four of Shelton’s volunteer fire companies, the Valley Independent Sentinel said.
