WILTON, Conn. -- Police said that a Stratford woman parked at a Wilton auto shop with a child in her car last Friday was under the drugs.

At around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 an officer spotted a car at Wilton Auto and Tire on Danbury Road after the business was closed. The officer checked on the vehicle to see if help was needed, which led to a narcotics search and the discovery of marijuana, according to police.

The driver, identified as 23-year-old Emily Curcio of Stratford, was determined to be under the influence of drugs, according to police. Additionally, there was a young child in the rear of the car, police said.

Curcio was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a minor in the vehicle, possession of marijuana, and failure to carry her license. She was issued a $700 bond and given a court date of Nov. 27.
