Woman, 10-Year-Old Girl Hit By Car In Shelton

SHELTON, Conn. -- A Shelton woman and a 10-year-old girl were injured when they were hit by a car Tuesday, Dec. 15, as they crossed Coram Avenue in Shelton, according to the Connecticut Post.

Both were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, but the extent of their injuries were not disclosed, said the Connecticut Post.

Police interviewed the driver, a 66-year-old woman, but no charges were filed, the Post said.
