“Generation Found” is a documentary that chronicles addiction among youth today and how to support life after addiction.

Set in Houston, the film tells the story of how one community overcome by addiction was able to create a system of treatment centers, sober high schools, alternative peer groups and collegiate recovery programs to support the children and families who have experienced addiction.

The film begins at 6 p.m. in the Quick Center for the Arts on campus.

A panel discussion will follow featuring moderator John Hamilton, CEO of Recovery Network of Programs; Virginia Kelly, author and professor or counselor education; Lisa Arnold, clinical coordinator of the university’s Collegiate Recovery Program; state Rep. Theresa Conroy; and two students living in Fairfield’s Recovery House.

This event is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by Fairfield University Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions and Collegiate Recovery Program.
