Hatchet-Wielding Man Stopped By Bridgeport Police Officer BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A “visibly irate” Trumbull man was arrested Tuesday night when a quick-thinking police officer stopped him from entering an East End deli carrying a hatchet, according to the Connecticut Post. Sgt. Jason Amato was on patrol when he saw Timothy Frey, 23, of Haviland Drive, leave the Sunshine Deli on Stratford Avenue, grab a hatchet from a parked truck and head back towards the deli, the Post said.
