2 State Police Cruisers Involved In Crash On I-95 In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Two lanes on I-95 southbound were reopened after a crash involving two state police cruisers near Exit 25 in Bridgeport on Thursday morning, according to NBC Connecticut.

Everyone is OK, state police told NBC 30. 

Traffic was backed up for about 2 miles to Exit 27 with residual delays from the accident, according to the DOT. 

The crash occurred at about 7:20 a.m. and was cleared by 8:30 a.m., DOT said. 

Details of what led up to the crash were not immediately available.

No further delays were reported.
