Part Of Howe Avenue In Shelton To Be Closed Overnight For Next Couple Weeks

SHELTON, Conn. -- A portion of Howe Avenue in Shelton will be closed during the overnight hours for the next couple weeks.

A portion of Howe Avenue near the Route 8 bridge in Shelton will be closed overnight for the next couple weeks.

The northbound lane of Howe Avenue in the area under the Route 8 bridge will be closed between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. for the next two or three weeks. There will be detours for northbound traffic.

The detour will have drivers traveling northbound turn left onto Kneen Street and then right onto Coram Avenue. Vehicles can then turn right onto Hill Street, Cornell Street, or Center Street to get back on Howe Avenue.

Police will be on scene to assist with traffic.
