Head Of Shelton Economic Development Corp. Plans To Retire

SHELTON, Conn. -- James "Jimmy" E. Ryan, president of the Shelton Economic Development Corp. will retire July 1, according to the Shelton Herald.

The nine-month timeframe will allow for a leadership transition to take place in an orderly fashion, according to Shelton Herald.

Ryan has continuously served the company, Shelton, and the region for 31 years, says Shelton Herald.

The Shelton Economic Development Corp. is a nonprofit corporation that focuses on the balanced development of the City of Shelton. 

The SEDC acts as a catalyst for growth within Shelton by providing direct links to all local government and business leaders, as well as coordinating between city and civic organizations.
