BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A man was found lying in the shoulder of the highway on Route 8 southbound in Bridgeport, according to Connecticut State Police.
He was found at 5:10 a.m. near Exit 2, according to State Police spokesman Kelly Grant.
The man was transported to the hospital for evaluation, but there was no information on his condition, Grant said. The incident does not appear criminal in nature at this time, she said.
The road was shut down for nearly an hour in the area, causing traffic delays in the early rush hour.
