SHELTON, Conn. -- Shelton resident Paul Grimmer will take over as vice president of the Shelton Development commission on May 2, and then as president on Aug. 3, when the current president, James Ryan, retires, according to the Connecticut Post.
Grimmer, who is currently the head of the Orange Economic Development corporation, will take over the work of revitalizing parts of the downtown area and on brownfield properties, said the Connecticut Post.
Grimmer has worked for Orange since 2001. He comes back to Shelton, where he served as an intern in May, 1987 while attending Penn State University, added the Connecticut Post.
