Richard Luke Lamanna, 23, was arrested around 1:24 a.m. Monday on Round Hill Road after police spotted him driving 50 mph in a 30 mph zone, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.

During the stop, officers could smell alcohol on Lamanna's breath and he was asked to take a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.

He was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle, traveling unreasonably fast, and DUI.

Lamanna was released to a friend on $100 bond.
