John E. Burns, 42, was busted on Thursday, Aug. 2, around 3:28 p.m. when Greenwich police responded to a private residence for a complaint of a violation of a protective order, said Lt. John Slusarz.
An investigation revealed that Burns had contacted the victim through an email after the court order was served, he added.
Burns was charged with violation of a court order and held on $1,000 bond which he was able to post.
