Police are on the hunt for a "person of interest" involved in the overnight murder of a 16-year-old boy.

Enfield detectives, along with the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit, are investigating the stabbing death of Justin Brady, police said.

A student at Enfield High School, the teen was stabbed at an Enfield home at 15 Hoover Lane.

Police have released little information except to say they are investigating the event. State Police said they are "assisting" with the investigation.

Enfield Public Schools Superintendent, Kent Pierce, said on Twitter: "State and #Enfield Police both investigating stabbing death of 16-year-old Justin Brady, Enfield High School student. Police say there is a person of interest they want to interview, and there is no threat to the rest of the high school or the community."

Police ask that anyone with information contact the Enfield PD at 860-763-6400.
